He has extensive experience as a Senior Drilling Supervisor, leading a wide range of drilling operations both offshore and on land, from complex deep-water drilling operations to urban drilling. Soren’s expertise in managing high-risk, complex operations in harsh environments has enabled consistent delivery of projects, while prioritising safety and efficiency. He has a proven record of success in shipyard stays, rig acceptance tests, and rig inspections, with a focus on executing tasks correctly, safely, and efficiently, thanks to his strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Soren is a solution-oriented individual, a strategic thinker, and a results-driven professional, with exceptional interpersonal skills and a leadership style that prioritises growth and collaboration.

Education and Certifications

Soren holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, an extension in Drilling from the University of Texas at Austin, and am a certified Lean & Sigma Six Black Belt. Additionally, my involvement as a board member of the Danish Society of Engineers Business & Leadership and the Society of Petroleum Engineers showcases Sorens’ commitment to professional development and training.
